Privacy Policy

How SovaHost collects, uses and protects your personal data.

Personal data we collect

We collect personal data that you provide when you sign up for an account, place an order, contact support, or use our services. This includes identification information (name, email, phone), billing information (address, payment details processed by our payment partners), user information (server logs, support tickets), and customer-relationship information (preferences, account history).

We do not sell personal data to third parties.

How we use your data

We use your data to perform our contractual obligations (deliver hosting service, process payments, provide support), comply with legal requirements, and pursue our legitimate business interests — which may include service improvement, fraud prevention, and direct marketing to existing customers about related services.

Your preferences regarding the collection and use of your data

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by opening a support ticket. You can opt out of marketing communications by adjusting your notification preferences in your client area or unsubscribing via the link in any marketing email.

Security of your data

We use industry-standard security measures to protect personal data — encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, audit logging, and regular security reviews. Payment data is processed by PCI-compliant payment partners and is not stored on SovaHost servers in plaintext.

No transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Access to your personal data

We may share personal data with service providers that help us operate the business (payment processors, fraud-prevention services, email delivery services, support-tool vendors), with hosting infrastructure partners (data center operators, DDoS mitigation providers), and with authorities where required by law.

Data may be transferred to processors inside and outside the European Economic Area; where transfers occur outside the EEA, we use standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

Amendments to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable law. Material changes will be communicated by email or by a notice in the client area. Continued use of the service after the effective date of a revised policy constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the website, remember your preferences, analyze site usage, and (where you opt in) personalize marketing. You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies, but doing so may break parts of the client area.

For privacy questions, open a support ticket from your client area or contact our data protection point of contact at the email address listed there.
